Izaskun Zubizarreta Guerendiain

Izaskun Zubizarreta Guerendiain ( born September 30, 1970 in Oiartzun ) is a Spanish ski mountaineer.

Zubizarreta began in 1997 with the ski mountaineering. By participating in the Cronoescalada in 2006 Cerler part in her first competition. Since 2006 she is also member of the national ski mountaineering.

  • 2006: 1st place Spanish Cup Championship team race ( with María Luisa Romerales )
  • 1st place in the Spain 's Cup

  • 5th place at the World Championship relay race ( with Cristina Bes Ginesta, Gemma and Emma Roca Rodríguez Arró Ribot )
  • 7th place in the World Cup ski mountaineering single
  • 7th place in the World Cup Championship team race ( with Emma Roca Rodríguez )
  • 9th place at the World Cup ski mountaineering long distance
