Ize (Persian شهرستان ایذه Schahrestān e - Ize ) is a city in the Khuzestan province in southwestern Iran. It is located about 28 km west of the Karun -3 Dam east of Susa.

The city's history dates back to the Elamite era where she was known under the name Ayapir.

Long Ize was under the name Idhadsch ( Īḏaǧ ) or Malamir ( Malamir ) capital of Hazaraspiden, who ruled over the region as Atabegs Großluristan.

Today, the city is inhabited primarily by Bakhtiari. Rather agriculturally oriented produces Izeh with its mild climate, especially rice, but also has mineral mines.
