Jack Ma

Jack Ma (Chinese马云/马云, Pinyin Mǎ Yun; * November 1964 in Hangzhou) is a Chinese entrepreneur, founder and CEO (of Alibaba.com and Taobao.com ).

Biography

Ma visited 1988 Hangzhou Teacher's Institute ( where he initially twice through the aptitude test dropped ) and was initially an English teacher. With borrowed $ 2000, he founded China Pages, one of the first Chinese Internet company. In 1999 he founded Alibaba.com, a B2B platform. Followed in 2003 by Taobao.com, the currently leading auction house in Asia.
