Jack Rose (screenwriter)
Jack Rose (* November 4, 1911 in Warsaw, General Warsaw, Russian Empire, † October 21, 1995 in Los Angeles, USA) was an American screenwriter Russian- Polish origin.
Life
Jack Rose began his career as a joke writer for Milton Berle and Bob Hope. In 1943 he wrote his first screenplay. Known are "his" films houseboat and General Pipe Cover, where he worked both as a writer and as a producer.
