Jacksonville Bullets

The Jacksonville Bullets were an American ice hockey franchise in the Sunshine Hockey League from Jacksonville, Florida.

History

The Jacksonville Bullets took the 1992/93 season as one of five founding members of the match operation in the Sunshine Hockey League. In its premiere season the Bullets reached immediately the playoff finals of Suhl, in which they, however, the West Palm Beach Blaze subject in the best- of-five series with a sweep. In the 1994/95 season the team has again succeeded in the finals, but the West Palm Beach Blaze were again with a sweep in three games successfully.

After the Jacksonville Bullets in the 1995/96 season occupied the sixth and thus last place in the league, which had changed its name to Southern Hockey League in the meantime, provided the owner of the team with the league game operation a. However, the main reason was the low audience numbers due to competition in 1995 settled in the city of Jacksonville Lizard Kings of the East Coast Hockey League.
