Jacob Tomuri

Jacob Adam Tomuri ( born December 4, 1979 in Wellington ) is a New Zealand film actor and stuntman.

Short Biography

Jacob Tomuri grew up in Porirua, and was encouraged after finishing his education from his mother, it as an actor to try. He was cast as one of the main characters of the television series The Tribe 1999, in which he is seen to 2001 in over 50 episodes.

Right next to his experience as an actor Tomuri has trained as a stuntman, so that he was seen between 2001 and 2003 in all three parts of The Lord of the Rings trilogy in numerous action sequences. In 2007, he took a small role in the horror film 30 Days of Night. In 2008 he was a stuntman in the co- produced in New Zealand fantasy series Legend of the Seeker - The Sword of Truth, in which he was seen in 2009 as a guest performer. In the same year he got a small role in James Cameron's film Avatar - Pandora.

Tomuri has enjoyed a training in Shaolin Kung Fu, and already forms athletes and stuntmen from. He now lives in Auckland.

Besides his native English, he also speaks Japanese, Spanish and Maori.
