Jacques Pills

Jacques Pills ( real name: René Ducos; born January 7, 1906 in Tulle, † September 12, 1970 ) was a French actor and singer.

During the 1930s formed Pills next to Georges Tabet the duo Pills et Tabet. Among other things, they had success with the titles Couchés dans le foin, aux îles Hawaï, Un cabanon près de Toulon and On n'a pas besoin de la lune. 1939 separated the duo and Ducos sang as a soloist on.

1939 Pills married the singer Lucienne Boyer. From this marriage sprang a child, namely Eliane Ducos, in 1960 the Euro Vision Song Contest won by her stage name Jacqueline Boyer for France. In 1952 he married the French singer Édith Piaf, of which he was in 1956 but divorced again.
