Jacques-Yves Henckes

Jacques -Yves Henckes ( born October 12, 1945 in Luxembourg City) is a Luxembourgian lawyer, liberal politician and former Member of ADR.

Life

Jacques -Yves Henckes became a member of DP for which he was represented from 1975 to 1993 as an alderman in the City Council in Luxembourg City. In the Chambre des Députés he moved first from 7 February to 5 June 1984, lost his seat but even at that election of 17 June 1984. Already one year later, on 10 October 1985, he moved again, and remained there until the elections in 1989.

Jacques -Yves Henckes resigned from the DP and was co-founder of ADR, which was originally called yet " Action Committee 5/6 " (Eng. Action Committee 5/6). He could win back in 1993 on the list of ADR his council seat. Since the establishment of the ADR 1989, he sat until 2013 also continuously in the Chambre des Députés. The end of 2012 it came to an argument with the party leadership of the ADR. Henckes announced his party outlet. His deputy's mandate, however, he did not give up and sat up to the early parliamentary elections as an independent parliamentarian in the Chamber of Députés. At the early parliamentary elections in 2013, he no longer took part, which he left Parliament.
