Alternative Democratic Reform Party

The alternative Demokratesch Reform Party ( German Alternative Democratic Reform Party, French Parti de réforme alternatif et démocratique ), short ADR, is a political party in Luxembourg, on 12 May 1987 as Action Committee 5/6 board for each ( Lux Aktiounskomitee 5/6 Pensioun fir jiddfereen, Fr. Comité d'action was founded 5/6 de retraite pour tous ) at the Centre Convict. The party changed in the course of its history, its name several times, so they renamed themselves on October 12, 1989 in Action Committee 5/6 ( Lux Aktiounskomitee 5/6, Fr. History

The Neutral union Luxemburg called in December 1986, all workers' organizations in the private sector in a joint action for their pensions justice. In the municipal elections on 9 October 2005, the party had also suffered loss of votes and was only in five rather than the previously representing ten local councils. In April 2006, the former deputy Aly Jaerling from the ADR came out, which the party lost its status as a fraction and then only formed a parliamentary group.

On 13 March 2008, the ADR entered into a cooperative agreement with the Association des Hommes du Luxembourg ( AHL ). This allowed the ADR, including members of the Men's Association to be a candidate on the electoral list. The party went on for the 2009 elections under the slogan Léisungen fir Luxemburg (German "Solutions for Luxembourg " ) into the race. With a total of six top candidates the ADR had also a candidate for the Luxembourg seats in the European Parliament, but not pulled into this.

In the general elections of 7 June 2009, the ADR reached 8.1% of all votes, representing a loss of 1.9 % compared to last year and lost the seat of the party president Robert flours in the east, whereby the formation of a group again failed. Flours was re-elected on 20 March 2010 for the party president, general secretary Roy Reding also confirmed in his office. In the local elections of ADR succeeded in gaining in six local councils.

At the annual National Congress on 25 March 2012, the ADR chose with Fernand Kartheiser as the successor of Robert flours a new National President. Political orientation

After the dissolution of the UEN after the European elections of 2009, the ADR sought a cooperation initiated by the British Conservatives new European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR).
