Jaded Sun

Jaded Sun are a hard rock / blues band from Dublin, Ireland. The five piece band consists of vocalist John Maher, the two guitarists Sean Gosker and Eorann Stafford, bassist Damien Kelly, and drummer Gavan Murray. The band formed in late 2002, has so far released two EPs and their debut album.

Their music is a mix of hard rock, blues, and U.S. Southern rock, with influences ranging from Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd or AC / DC. Despite their traditional orientation aware, it is important for them to present the songs fresh, versatile and authentic.

Band History

Their first EP was released in 2004 and RAW played on a number of Irish radio stations. With the eponymous title track of their EP they rose to No. 1 on the Irish Social Networking Page CPU. 4 more songs were in the top 20. With a growing fan base larger performances were possible. In March 2005, they were taken by Sian Records and participated together with producers Chris O'Brien and Graham Murphy their second EP on, Falling on the Fears. It was released in late 2005.

It was followed by a tour of Ireland and the UK with sold out concerts in Dublin and London. In 2006 they played at numerous festivals, including on the Glasgowbury Festival and as the opening act in the Irish Croke Park in Dublin Bon Jovi and Nickelback. International festival experience they gathered in March 2007 as a headliner at an open -air festival in Zagreb as part of the St. Patrick 's Day celebrations.

After the successful live experiences they decided to record their first album. They could with Richard Mouser ( Weezer, Dream Theater, Tears for Fears ), Jimmy Coup (guitarist at Coup de Grace and Andrew WK) and Robert Vosgien ( Lenny Kravitz, Bush, Goo Goo Dolls) win a proven team of producers. Production began in Moneygall (Ireland), went with the shots in the Mouse House Studios in Los Angeles ( California ) continued and ended with the mastering at home in Ireland. Gypsy trip appeared in Ireland and the UK on 26 March 2008 and in Germany on 25 April 2008 at New Music Distribution. After a few festival appearances in the summer (including Zwarte Cross in Lichtenvoorde, Netherlands and Park Kult-Tour Festival in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a detailed tour took place in 2008.
