Jadwiga Zakrzewska

Jadwiga Zakrzewska (* November 4, 1950 in Płońsk ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform, PO).

Life

Jadwiga Zakrzewska attended primary school in Zakroczym and closed then the economy pilot ( pilot Ekonomiczne ) in Mińsk Mazowiecki from. She completed a degree in Social Sciences at the College of Social Sciences ( Wyższa SzkoĹ Nauk Społecznych ) with a focus on territorial self-government. In 1970 she began to work in the Municipality of Zakroczym, and later with PSS " Społem " in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. 1980 Zakrzewska became active in the Solidarity and was for this as delegates to the Mazovia region and was secretary of the NSZZ Solidarność in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. With the state of emergency in 1981 she found herself exposed as a Solidarity member reprisals. This was recognized officially in 2005 by the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN ). With the beginning of the political reforms it was in 1989 elected as Chairman of the People's Committee of Solidarity in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and 1990 Mayor of the city. From 1994 she was a member of the City Council. In 1997 she moved to Solidarity in the Sejm. There Zakrzewska worked in the Commission for National Defense as Deputy Chairman. In April 2001, she put down her mandate to work in the Polish Ministry of Defense. In the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2005 she went to for Platforma Obywatelska and was able to win a mandate again. This she also managed in the early parliamentary elections in 2007 in the constituency with 7,593 votes 20 Warszawa. Since 2005, Zakrzewska working in the Commission for National Defense. Furthermore, it is in the Commission for Territorial Self-Government and Regional Policy and the Environment ( 2008). In June 2008, Jadwiga Zakrzewska finished her studies at the Akademia Obrony Narodowej ( Academy of National Defence ). There they had focused on the Department of Defense strategic focus on national security. The topic of her thesis was: role and task of the Commission of National Defense of the Sejm in the process of changing the armament.

Jadwiga Zakrzewska is married and has two sons.
