Jaime Ordiales

José Jaime Ordiales Domínguez ( born December 23, 1962 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican footballer who mostly acted in midfield. After his playing career, he was temporarily in use as a trainer and has held since 2008, the post of Director in the Sports Club América.

Life

Association

Ordiales started his footballer career in the clubs Barcelona and Asturiano in the league Española de Fútbol, the most important football amateur league in the metropolitan area of Mexico City.

He received his first professional contract in 1982 at Club Necaxa, for whom he played until 1985. In his twenty- year professional career, he stood at a total of ten clubs under contract and only for the Club León, he played in two stages. With the Tecos de la U.A.G. (1993 /94) and the Diablos Rojos de Toluca ( Verano1998 ) he won a championship title.

National

His debut in the dress of the Mexican national team celebrated Ordiales on 20 November 1991 in a match against Uruguay, which finished 1-1. His only two international goals he scored 9 May 1998 in a 6-0 against Estonia.

Highlight of his international career was the participation in the Football World Cup in 1998, when he ( 2:2 ) was used in the preliminary matches against South Korea ( 3-1 ) and Belgium. The match against Belgium was also his last international match.

Coach and sports director

Prior to the 2007/ 08 season Ordiales was as coach of the Tecos de la UAG committed, but early March 2008, released early due to unsatisfactory results and replaced by José Luis Trejo. A few months later, he received the post of sports director at Club América.
