JALways K. K. was a Japanese airline based in Tokyo and based on the Tokyo Narita Airport. She was a subsidiary of Japan Airlines, JAL short, and in 2010 was integrated in it.

History

The airline was founded in 1990 with the name Japan Air Charter as a charter airline. Flight operations began in July 1991 with McDonnell Douglas DC -10 and Boeing 747-200. On the 1st of the same year, the company received its present name and became an international scheduled airline.

Since March 2001 she was completely JAL. In October 2005, the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 were decommissioned.

The cockpit crews were mostly citizens of the United States and stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii, while the cabin crews majority of Asian origin were stationed in Bangkok. JALways operated independently from its parent company, but cooperated in services and flights with her closely.

To December 1, 2010 JALways was dissolved and fully integrated into the parent company Japan Airlines.

JALways offered weekly over 200 flights on scheduled services from Japan to to destinations in Asia, Oceania and the USA. Were Flew example, Delhi, Bangkok, Honolulu and Sydney.
