James Di Pasquale

James Di Pasquale ( born April 7, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American composer.

Life

James Di Pasquale is the son of Hugo and Lucille, nee Ciccone, Di Pasquale. After his secondary education at St. Mel's High School, he studied at Northwestern University and the Manhattan School of Music, which included, among others, David Diamond and Ludmila Uhlela to his teachers. He then played for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Bolshoi Ballet and the Royal Ballet. In parallel, he worked with musicians like Gerry Mulligan, Ella Fitzgerald, Henry Mancini and Barbra Streisand. He was also a short time at the Paul Winter Consort.

The staged by Richard Donner television drama Sarah T., a young alcoholic Di Pasquale made ​​his debut in 1975 as a film composer. By 1996, followed over 40 other film compositions.
