James Faulkner (actor)

James Sebastian Faulkner ( born July 18, 1948 in London, Hampstead, England, United Kingdom) is a British actor and English voice actor for animated films.

Career

Faulkner was educated at Caldicott Preparatory School in Farnham Royal in Buckinghamshire and at Wrekin College in Wellington ( Shropshire ), Salop. He was from 1967 to 1970 at The Central School of Speech and Drama, a drama school. Faulkner played in a variety of British and international films and television series in various main and supporting roles with. In addition, he also worked on many animated movies and video games as an English voice actors, such as in the video game version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

His first film debut in 1972 as Josef Strauss in the film The Great Waltz ( The Great Waltz ). In 1976, he played the Terrick in the film The Whispering Death ( Whispering Death ) and in the same year in the BBC television adaptation I, Claudius, Emperor and God (I, Claudius ), where he represented the Herod Agrippa II. In 1979, he starred in the British television series Minder ( minder on the Orient Express) and in the film The Last Offensive ( Zulu Dawn ). In the Granada Television production of 1988, he starred in the movie The Hound of the Baskervilles The Hound of the Baskervilles, the role of Stapleton, a major adversary of Sherlock Holmes, who was represented here by Jeremy Brett. In 1991, he starred in the British television series Devices and Desires, a novel adaptation of PD James and production of Anglia Television, the nuclear power plant director Dr. Alex Mair, and in 2007 the Agent Smith in the movie Hitman - Everybody dies alone. He was also the main antagonist Baron Mullins in the Anglo-American television series Covington Cross and also appeared as Lord Kenworth in the spy movie Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London. In addition, Faulkner 2006, they played in the German - Canadian historical drama The conclave the Cardinal Guillaume d' Estouteville and 2008 in the German thriller The Bible Code Cardinal Rhades.
