James Hewitt

James Hewitt Lifford ( born April 30, 1958 in Derry ) is a former British military officer and former lover Diana Spencer, the former Princess of Wales.

Life

Hewitt is the son of a Royal Navy officer. He attended Millfield Public School in Somerset. His military training was Hewitt, among others, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He served in the Household Cavalry regiment of the British Army and the Second Gulf War, in which he commanded 14 Challenger tanks in Operation Desert Storm. His military service ended after 17 years in the rank of captain, after he had twice tried in vain to be Major, the conditions that was not fulfilled. Later he ran a golf driving range in Marbella. In the semi-documentary film drama Bloody Sunday director Paul Greengrass 2002 he played the Colonel Tugwell. He has also performed in a number of television programs and shows. In the U.S. television drama Diana - a life for love ( original title Princess in Love, 1996) by David Greene Hewitt was represented by Christopher Villiers.

Affair with the Princess of Wales

Hewitt was several years Beloved Diana Spencer, the Princess of Wales. The former wife of the British heir to the throne, Prince Charles, he met in 1986 at a party in London know.
