Christopher Villiers

Christopher Villiers ( born September 7, 1960 in London ) is a British actor.

Life

Villiers attended the Stowe School in Buckinghamshire. He is the brother of actor Jay Villiers and producer Cat Villiers. From the marriage with Kathryn Threlfall he has two children.

Villiers played among others in the film comedy Top Secret! (1984 ), the adventure film The 1st Knight (1995), and the film drama Bloody Sunday ( 2002). In the U.S. television film Diana - A life for love ( original title Princess in Love, 1996), he portrayed James Hewitt, the lover of Diana Spencer, Princess of Wales. He wrote the screenplay for the short film Shotgun Wedding (2007 ), in which he also directed. He was also involved, directed by John Henderson on the script of Two Men Went to War ( 2002).
