Jan de Weryha-Wysoczański

Jan de Weryha- Wysoczański (* 1950 in Gdańsk ) is a Polish sculptor and representatives of Concrete Art.

In 1976, he obtained his degree in sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts Gdansk. Since 1981 he lives in Hamburg. In 1998 he was winner of the Prix du Jury at the Salon de Printemps '98 Luxembourg. In 1999 he was awarded the contract for the monument in memory of the deportees of the Warsaw Uprising in 1944 in the Neuengamme concentration camp memorial, 2012 the contract for the memorial in remembrance of the Nazi forced laborers in Hamburg- Bergedorf.
