Jan Hanuš (footballer)

Jan Hanus ( born April 28, 1988 in Chlumec nad Cidlinou ) is a Czech football player on the goalkeeper position.

Club career

Hanus began playing football at FK Chlumec nad Cidlinou from 1997 to 2003, he played for RMSK Cidlina. Subsequently, the goalkeeper moved to the youth department of Slavia Prague. While still a teenager, he was A- in the season 2006/ 07 for his first appearances for the B team, that played in the CFL. For the B team Slavia played the 188 -centimeter Hanus in the season 2007/ 08 and in the first half of the season 2008 /09.

In early 2009 the keeper was awarded to the league rivals SK Sparta Krc, for the season 2009/10 he returned to Slavia and was scheduled in the senior squad as number three behind Martin Vaniak and Deniss Romanovs. After a blunder by Vaniak equal start of the season Hanus received from coach Karel Jarolím confidence as the new number one, but remained only four league games in goal, to be subsequently displaced again by Vaniak. Again, the number three behind the duo Vaniak and Romanovs played Hanus in September and then again in November 2009 for the B team. In December 2009, Hanus extended his contract with Slavia Prague until 30 June 2012.

During the winter break of 2009/10 Slavia Prague undertook the Slovakian goalkeeper Štefan Senecký, whereupon Hanus moved on loan to second division side FC Hlučín to play matches. In July 2010, Hanus joined on loan to FC Erstligaaufsteiger Hradec Králové.

National

Hanus has been used three times in the Czech U-21 national team.
