Jan Kułakowski

January Jerzy Kułakowski ( born August 25, 1930 in Myszków; † June 25, 2011 in Warsaw) was a Polish politician and Member of the European Parliament for the Greater Poland Voivodeship (2004-2009) from the party Unia Wolności, a Liberal Democratic Party of Poland, part the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe. He is regarded as " one of the pioneers of the Polish accession to the European Union " and as a " valued and talented diplomat and humanist ".
