Jan Plantaz

Johannes " Jan" Marinus Plantaz ( born December 3, 1930 in Geldrop, Noord-Brabant, † February 10, 1974 in Eindhoven ) was a Dutch racing cyclist.

Plantaz scored his first national success in 1951 as a 20 -year-old amateur road cyclists. It towered third place out in the amateur world road championships and winning the road race Amsterdam - Arnhem- Amsterdam - Tiel. In 1952 he was in the squad of the Netherlands for the Olympic Radwettbewerbe in Helsinki.
