Jana Galíková-Hlaváčová

Jana Gáliková - Hlaváčová ( born January 22, 1963 in Brno ) is a former Czech orienteer.

Jana Gáliková - Hlaváčová won at the World Championships a total of three silver and four bronze medals, including a silver and two bronze medals in individual competitions. 1983 in Hungary, she won in the Czechoslovak team with Iva Kalibánová, Eva Bártová and Ada Kuchařová silver. In 1987, she was on the long distance behind the Swedes Arja Hannu and Karin Rabe third parties, as well as with the squadron, 1989, she had to admit defeat of the Swedish Marita Skogum. With Petra Wagnerova, Jana Cieslarová and Ada Kuchařová she also won silver in the relay. On the way home World Cup in 1991 in Marienbad Gáliková - Hlaváčová again won two silver medals.

In the World Cup they started in the 1988 season and was able to gain three wins. In the overall standings, they came in third place behind Ragnhild Bratberg and Brit Volden from Norway.

During her career, she competed for the clubs VSZ Brno and Tesla Brno. Today, she works as an architect in Brno.
