Arja Hannus

Arja Hannu ( born January 30, 1960 in Ånge ) is a former Swedish orientation and ski orienteer. In both sports, she became world champion.

Career

Hannu was in 1976 Swedish National Champion in the night - orienteering and collected around 1980 three more national titles. In 1981 she participated in the World Championships in Thun, Switzerland and has been with Barbro Lönnkvist, Karin Rabe and Annichen Kringstad Season World Champion. In early 1982, they went on the ski - orienteering World Championships in Aigen in the Enns Valley at the start. Arja Hannu ran throughout her career for the clubs Kovlands IF, IFK Södertälje and Domnarvets GoIF. With Södertälje she won the 1991 Venla. In the same year she also won the O-rings.
