Mirja Puhakka

Mirja Puhakka Annele ( born April 30, 1955 in Sippola ) is a former Finnish ski orienteer.

Puhakka won three gold and three silver medals at the three ski World Orienteering Championships in 1980, 1982 and 1984. In 1980 it was double World Champion in singles and with Kaija Silvennoinen and Sinikka Kukkonen in the relay. 1982 in Austria it was in both contests Second, in 1984 the Italian Lavarone she won again in singles and won a silver medal in the relay. At the World Cup 1986, it was 13th in singles and fourth in the relay.

Puhakka, who started for the club Sippurasti from Anjalankoski, won five individual championships and a Finnish championship of the season. In addition, she won with the club in 1978, the first edition of the Venla - relay race in the summer orienteering.
