Jane Olivor

Jane Olivor ( born January 1, 1947 in New York City; actually Linda Cohen ) is an American vocal pop singer. Her style is a Barbra Streisand quite close - great ballads, sung with a very emotional, strong voice. Their music consists of traditional ( 70s ) Pop, show numbers and tender ballads, partly influenced by the French chanson. Therefore, it came also to compare with Édith Piaf.

Biography

Similar Streisand Jane Olivor had a large fan base among homosexuals since the beginning of her career. In the Manhattan club scene of the early 70s, she had already made a name for himself as expressive performer. In 1976 she signed with Columbia Records a record deal and took in the same year her debut on First Night.
