Janne Laukkanen
Janne Kristian Laukkanen ( born March 19, 1970 in Lahti ) is a retired Finnish professional ice hockey player who in his playing days from 1987 to 2003 among others for the Quebec Nordiques, Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa Senators, Pittsburgh Penguins and Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League has played.

Career
Janne Laukkanen began his career as a hockey player in the youth of Reipas Lahti, for the first team, first in the second class I divisioona and after the rise in the 1989/90 season he was active from 1988 to 1991 in the SM- liiga. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1991 in the eighth round as the 156th overall by the Quebec Nordiques players. First, the defender three years but remained in Finland, where he played for HPK Hämeenlinna, with which he was runner-up in 93 of the season 1992 /. For the team that at the end of the season won the Stanley Cup, he took three games, but changed hands during the current season to their league rivals Ottawa Senators, with whom he remained until 2000. There followed three years with the Pittsburgh Penguins, before the Finn was issued in early 2003 to the New York Rangers for their AHL farm team, he gave Hartford Wolf Pack three assists in five games, before ending his career with the Tampa Bay Lightning ended, for which he still met once in four games until season's end.
Following his playing career Laukkanen worked in the 2004/05 season as an assistant coach at the Espoo Blues in the SM- liiga. In the 2007 /08 season the former NHL Professional worked in the coaching staff of the team unterklassigen VG- 62.
Internationally
For Finland Laukkanen participated in the U20 Junior World Cup 1990, as well as the World Championships in 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1998 in part. In addition, he was in the squad Finland at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer and Nagano 1998, as well as the World Cup of Hockey 1996.
