János Mátyus

János Mátyus ( born December 20, 1974 in Győr ) is a retired Hungarian football player.

Career

Mátyus played at Honvéd Budapest and Ferencvaros Budapest before he left his Hungarian homeland. His first foreign stations was 2000, the FC Energie Cottbus in the German second league, which he managed in the same year in third place promotion to the Bundesliga. In 2002 he moved on to Scotland to Hibernian. After a season Mátyus changed again in the German-speaking area to Austria for FC Admira Wacker Mödling. From 2005 he played again in Hungary Gyori ETO FC for his old club Ferencvaros Budapest and FC Tatabánya.
