Jarmo Lehtinen

Jarmo Lehtinen ( born January 3, 1969) is a Finnish rally co-driver. He is currently the co-driver Mikko Hirvonen.

Life

Jarmo Lehtinen lives together with his wife Tanja in Lahti. His career began in 1988 as co-pilot on the side of his friend Jari Mikkola. Later he took part in the Finnish Rally Championship as co-pilot Marko Ramanen. In 1997 he was at the Rally Finland his debut in the World Rally Championship. In 1999 he started together with Ramanen in the British Rally Championship and accompanied Jouni Ampuja in the Finnish Rally Championship in Group N. He worked another two years along with Ampuja until 2002 with Toni Gardemeister in the World Rally Championship drove. Since 2003, he formed a team with Mikko Hirvonen. From 2004 to 2005, the duo drove the meantime the Subaru and since 2006 in Ford

Achievements

His first victory in the World Rally Championship celebrated Lehtinen at the 2006 Rally Australia. Until now (2011), the duo has posted 14 victories in the World Rally Championship, all of them in the Ford World Rally Team.
