Jaroslav Šilhavý

Jaroslav Šilhavý ( born November 3, 1961 in Plzeň ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach. It is equipped with 465 stakes record holder of the Czechoslovak and Czech league.

Club career

Šilhavý played in his youth for TJ Chotěšov, ČSAD Pilsen Škoda Pilsen. At age 18, joined the defender to RH Cheb, there to do his military service, the club but another eight years was beyond loyal, in which he completed 243 league games and thereby made ​​a name as a reliable defender.

In 1990 he moved to Slavia Prague, from 1994 to 1996 he played for Petra Drnovice. His last stop was 1997-2000 Viktoria Zizkov. With 38 years Šilhavý ended his career.

Coach

Šilhavý began his coaching career as an assistant at Viktoria Zizkov. In 2003 he joined as an assistant coach at Sparta Prague and also took over the post of assistant with the Czech national team. In the season 2006/ 07 Šilhavý was coach of the B team of Sparta, in July 2007, he became head coach at SK Kladno. He led the team to the league. For the 2008/09 season is Šilhavý coach at Viktoria Plzen. By April 2009, Šilhavý worked again as an assistant coach of the Czech national team, in October 2009, he broke Pavel Tobiáš from the SK Dynamo České Budějovice.
