Jaśkowo, Iława County

Jaśkowo [ jaɕkɔvɔ ] ( German Jäskendorf ), located in the powiat Iławski in Poland, is a village in the municipality Zalewo. Jaśkowo forms within the Gmina Zalewo own mayor's office without other associated towns.

History

The place was as hooves interest Village 1308 Tangible victory of Hard of Schwarzburg, Commander of Christchurch Castle.

Between 1525 and 1945 the city was seat of a Lutheran church. Development since 1849

In the second half of the 19th century the estate Jäskendorf had the status of a Gutsbezirks. This extensive Gutsbezirk formed in 1874 a separate administrative district in the county Morag, the enclaves of goods between Bärting and Röthloffsee were exempted, which were assigned to the rural municipality in the district of Nickel Wave Hagen Hagen. As part of local government reform in the Gutsbezirk 1928 was converted into a rural community. District and community Jäskendorf existed in this form until 1945, the municipality Jäskendorf in 1933. 432 inhabitants and in 1939: 406 inhabitants.

After integration into the Polish state, the town was renamed Jaśkowo and the newly formed Gmina Zalewo slammed.

Manor house

On a hill above the northern tip of the five- kilometer lake Jäskendorfer a stately baroque mansion of 1721, which was redesigned in 1776 rises. After a fire in the 19th century, the original state was largely restored exterior, the interiors, however, were designed classically. In addition, in the late 19th century a wing was added that harmonized stylistically with the main building. In 1939, the top floor of fire fell to the victim.

Georg Konrad Graf Finck von Finckenstein (1748-1799) was in 1788 ( wedding in Jäskendorf ) married Baroness Henriette Katharina von Korff. She was the daughter of the Eastern Star Nikolaus Wilhelm von Korff and Elisabeth, born of Jeffrys. The daughter inherited in 1791 Jäskendorf with accessories ( Wave Hagen, Hagen nickel, big and small Simnau, Bärting, Galindia, Neusaess, Röthloff and the mill to Hans Walde, value together: 120,000 pounds). She left this legacy to her husband, Count Georg Konrad Finckenstein ( founder of the 1945 resident Jäskendorf line ). The last Fideikomissherr of Jäskendorf was Bonaventura Graf Finck von Finckenstein ( 1872-1950 ).
