Jasmin Handanović

Jasmin Handanovič ( born January 28, 1978 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian football goalkeeper. Since 2010 he plays for the Slovenian club NK Maribor.

Career

Jasmin Handanovič first played at various clubs in the Slovenska Nogometna League, the highest football league in Slovenia. He was three times Slovenian Cup winner, once in 2000 with NK Olimpija Ljubljana and twice in 2006 and 2007 with NK Koper. In 2007 he moved then to the AC Mantova. In the season 2010/11 he was at FC Empoli under contract, where he was first-choice goalkeeper.

His younger cousin Samir Handanovič is also goalkeeper and plays for the Slovenian national football team.
