Jason Pinizzotto
Jason Pinizzotto ( born January 13, 1980 in Mississauga, Ontario ) is a German - Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since June 2013 when the EC Bad Nauheim in the DEL2 under contract.
Career
Pinizzotto began his career in 1997 at the Barrie Colts of the Canadian Junior Football League OHL. After an average first season in which the Canadians completed 24 games, while there were three points scorer, he moved within the league to the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. There, the Center was able to increase a little, but again left the club after just one season. In 2001 Pinizzotto got a scholarship at York University, for which he henceforth in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport, the Canadian College sports organization played.
Four years later Pinizzotto ventured for the first time to move to Europe, where he signed a contract with the Fishtown Penguin Bremerhaven from the 2nd Bundesliga. There became the then 26 -year-old one of the leading player and top scorer in the team, after which he was obliged to season 2007/ 08 of the DEG Metro Stars of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. After a weak main round in which the tech-savvy striker was able to achieve only 16 scorer points in 56 games, he rose in the subsequent play-offs and contributed among other important points in the quarter-final series against the Sinupret Ice Tigers at. Nevertheless Pinizzottos contract was not renewed at the end, after which he moved to league rivals Hamburg Freezers in the summer of 2008, for which he aufspielte in the 2008 /09 season. In early May 2009 Pinizzotto moved back into the second hockey league for the Schwenningen Wild Wings. Since the 2013/14 season playing for the EC Bad Nauheim in the DEL2.
