Javier Solís

Javier Solís ( born September 1, 1931, in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, † April 19, 1966 in Mexico City; born Gabriel Siria Levario ) was a Mexican singer and actor who mainly by well-known songs such as " Media Vuelta " or " Sombras " came into existence as a ranchera singer.

Early life

Javier Solís was born as the first of three children of Francisco Siria Mora baker and the clerk Juana Levario Plata in Nogales. His childhood was very mixed, so he had to, for example, to stop his school career to support his family in everyday life. At a young age Javier Solís professional boxer wanted to be; he trained in his spare time and had initially also success. Only after a series of failures, his father advised him to give up boxing career. Death

Javier Solís died on April 19, 1966 in Mexico City, after he had become before surgery on the gallbladder and it was then come to complications. His doctor had forbidden him to drink, which is why he said shortly before his death:
