Jayna Hefford

Jayna Hefford ( born May 14, 1977 in Kingston, Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who plays for the Brampton Thunder of the Canadian Women's Hockey League.

Career

Jayna Hefford began her career as a hockey player at the University of Toronto. Since 1998 she is at the Brampton Thunder under contract, for which they initially from 1998 to 2007 played in the National Women's Hockey League. She has since appeared in Brampton at the Canadian Women's Hockey League newly established.

Internationally

For Canada Hefford participated in the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, 2002 Salt Lake City, Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010 and 2014 in Sochi part. In addition, she stood in the line-up of their country at the World Championships 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008 and 2009 and in the years 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 at the 4 Nations Cup and 3 Nations Cup part.
