Jean-Baptiste Kiéthéga

Jean -Baptiste Kiéthéga ( born May 10, 1947 in Yako ( Upper Volta, now Burkina Faso) ) is an archaeologist and historian. It comes from the West African nation of Burkina Faso since 2005 and a professor at the University of Ouagadougou.

Life

He attended primary school in Toma ( Sourou ), later the school facilities in Koudougou at the Lycée Philippe Zinda Kabore ( LPZK ) and graduated there in 1967 with the Baccalauréat from. Kiéthéga then studied in Dakar and at the Sorbonne Archaeology and Historical Sciences. In 1998 he was with the Dutch Prince Claus Prize .. Jean -Baptiste Kiéthéga presented at the 2007 investigation into the disappearance of weapons stocks from the French colonial army during the crackdown on the uprisings 1913-1916 in the region Bwaba.
