Jean Boffety

Jean Boffety ( born June 7, 1925 in Chantelle, † June 25, 1988 in Paris) was a French cinematographer.

Life

Jean Boffety was trained as a camera assistant and worked for the first time in 1960, responsible as director of photography. Several times he worked with directors Robert Enrico, Robert Hossein, Claude Sautet Claude Lelouch and he proved his skills not only in action-packed thrillers, but also to shorter breastfeeding works, in which he supported the sensitive drawing of people. For a simple story Boffety was nominated for a César Award for Best Cinematography.
