Chantelle, Allier

Chantelle (formerly Chantelle -le- Château ) is a commune with 1074 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Allier in the Auvergne region; it belongs to the district and Moulins is the capital of the Canton of Chantelle.

Geography

The municipality is located in the Valley of bouble, about 25 kilometers northwest of Vichy.
