Jean-Claude Decaux

Jean -Claude Decaux ( born September 15, 1937 in Beauvais ) is a French billionaire who reached his fortune through outdoor advertising.

He was the founder in 1964 of the JCDecaux Group, currently the world's largest outdoor advertising company. A quasi- monopoly was established with the business idea to offer communities bus shelters for free in exchange for advertising it installed.

JCDecaux and its subsidiaries were by him until 2002 and are now run by his sons, Jean- François, Jean -Charles and Jean -Sebastien.

It occupies with his family on the Forbes billionaire list the 163 global place with $ 6 billion in March 2011. Refers only to France, he occupied the 6th place.
