Jean-François Domergue

Jean -François Domergue ( born June 23, 1957 in Bordeaux ) is a French former football player and football coach.

Playing career

Domergue began his career in 1969 at his hometown club Girondins Bordeaux. In 1975, the defender into the first team of Girondins. After five years in the homeland he went in 1980 to the OSC Lille. 1982 went the way through France continue to Olympique Lyon, where he stayed only one season. The migratory birds moved in 1983 to FC Toulouse. After three years in Toulouse in 1986 he went to Marseille to defend there. There could Domergue, as well as in the other stations before, not win a title at club level. In the 1988/89 season he made his career at SM Caen finish.

International Domergue played nine times for France, scoring two goals. These two gates reach the defending champion at the European Football Championship 1984 semi-final against Portugal, where he scored France in the final. Les Bleus won this championship in the end.

After the active career

After the active career Domergue was coach. He took over in 2000 the AC Le Havre, where he sat until 2004 as a coach on the bench. From 2004-2007 he was the coach of Montpellier.
