Jean-François Leuba

Jean -François Leuba (* July 16, 1934 in Lausanne, † October 22, 2004 ) was a doctor of law, attorney and Swiss politician (LPS).

Leuba was sitting first from 1978 to 1990 as Director of Justice and Police in the Vaud cantonal government. From 1987 to 1998 he was in the National Council, and practiced there from 1991 to 1994 the office of President of the Liberal group of. In December 1995 he was elected for one year at the National Council president. The State Government appointed him in 1997 as President of the Inter- Jurassic Assembly, which he directed until 2002. Leuba died in the night from 21 to 22 October 2004 at the age of 70 years.

His son, Philippe Leuba, is also active in politics.
