Jean Longuet

Jean -Laurent- Frederick Longuet ( born May 10, 1876 in London, † September 11, 1938 in Aix -les- Bains ) was a French politician, lawyer and journalist. His full name was, he was Jean -Laurent- Fredrick called Johnny.

Jean Longuet was one of five sons of Charles Longuet and Jenny Longuet, the eldest daughter of Karl Marx. He was mayor of Chatenay -Malabry, a deputy in the French parliament and a key member of the Section Française de l' International ouvrière.

Jean Longuet's elder son Robert -Jean Longuet became a lawyer and journalist, the younger son Karl -Jean Longuet, a well-known sculptor.

Longuet died in a car accident.
