Jean-Pierre Dionnet

Jean -Pierre Dionnet ( born November 25, 1947 in Paris ) is a French comic book writer and screenwriter.

Life and work

Dionnet spent his first five years in the department of Creuse.

In 1968 he was invited by Philippe Druillet the French comic magazine Pilote and began Solé, Got, Druillet, Moebius, Goetzinger, Bilal, scenarios and texts - especially science fiction - to write. In 1970, he began to move a comic book series by Editions Nathan - a precursor of Métal Hurlant. In 1971 he became chief editor of the journal produced by Nikita Mandryka L'Echo des Savanes, and brought young authors and illustrators to ground, Petillon, Wallace Wood. He thought about it, to produce Métal Hurlant here, but Mandryka refused and calls on him to start his own journal.

In January 1975 he founded together with Mœbius, Druillet and Bernard Farkas the publishing house Les Associés Humanoïdes and laid the Comic Journal Métal Hurlant, which appeared under the name of heavy metal on the German market.

New ways went Dionnet from 1986 after his departure from Humanoïdes Associés: He went to television and produced the movie broadcast on TF1 Cinestars, a daily night show on Skyrock and a week chronicle for Télérama. At the same time he remains faithful to the comic book and develops scenarios and writes the lyrics for the artist Bilal, Beb Deum, Jean -Claude Gal, Michel Pirus, Frank Margerin, Denis Sire and Laurent Theureau.

1989 Jean -Pierre Dionnet briefly Literatischer director of the publishing house Albin Michel BD comic. And for television, he does the shipment Cinéma de Quartier on Canal , which is sent 15 years, as well as for cable television broadcasts Le Club, Destination séries etc. As of 2003, he writes again and leads the series Exterminateur 17, Enki Bilal had begun and continue by Igor wrote Barenko further. In 2009 he begins to work on various film projects and to develop a megalomaniacal comic series, in which a dozen cartoonists to the history of America from 1929 to 2133 tell.
