Jennifer Ciochetti

Jennifer Ciochetti ( born December 2, 1984 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian Bobsportlerin.

Career

Jennifer Ciochetti lives in Edmonton. They first operational Athletics at the University of Alberta and was a Spitzensprinterin. In 2006, she joined the Canadian National Team in bobsleigh, where she is active as a brakeman for Helen Upperton ever since. With it, she came in the 2006/07 season in four World Cup starts always in the top four, and was at the Bob World Championships 2007 in St. Moritz sixth. At the start of the following season they won with Upperton the opening race on their home track in Calgary. Also in Cesana were both successful.

In the following season they celebrated a comfortable win in the season opener in Winterberg. However, they could not finish on the podium in the rest of the season. For the 2009/10 season they could only go once on the podium with second place in Altenberg.

In summer 2010 Ciochetti took after missed qualifying for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in a pilot training of the association part and has been leading the 2010/11 season a separate two-man bob.

Together with Kaillie Humphries, she won the Bobsleigh World Championships 2012 in Lake Placid the title in two-man bob. A year later, at the Bob World Cup in St. Moritz in 2013 she finished 18th in the two-man bob. In the mixed- team competition they reached the sixth.

At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014, she started with her partner Chelsea Valois in the two-man competition, reaching with her at the end of the 13th Place.
