Jenny Macklin

Jenny Macklin ( born December 29, 1953 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian politician.

Life

After her schooling Macklin studied economics at the University of Melbourne. After her studies she worked as an economist. Macklin is a member of the Australian Labor Party. Since March 1996, Macklin MP in the Australian Parliament. Since 2007, Macklin is the successor of Minister Mal Brough Department of Families in, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Macklin lives in Ivanhoe, Victoria.
