Jens Bratlie

Jens Kristian Meinich Bratlie (* January 17, 1856, † September 15, 1939 ) was a Norwegian lawyer, officer and Conservative politician.

Bratlie 1901 was first elected to the Storting and served from 1906 to 1909 as President of the Odelsting and 1910 to 1912 as President of the Parliament. He was chairman of the Conservative Party Høyre 1911-1919 and Norwegian Prime Minister and Minister of War and budget February 20, 1912 to January 31, 1913.

1910 Bratlie was awarded the Olav's Medal ( with Star Commander ). He was also winner of the Dannebrogorden and Wasaordens.
