Jens Fjellström

Jens Fjellström ( born October 27, 1964 in Umeå ) is a former Swedish football player.

Career

Fjellström debuted in 1988 for Djurgårdens IF in the Fotbollsallsvenskan. In 1990, he won the club the Svenska Cupen. After he was relegated from the Premier League with the club in 1992, he joined the league rivals Malmö FF. With his new club, he suffered the same fate in 1999, but the club remained faithful in Superettan and made with him the direct resurgence. After the end of the second division season, he ended his active career.

During a tour of Australia in the Swedish national team Fjellström debuted on January 26, 1992 a 0-0 draw against Australia in the selection. His second and last match he played against the same opponents on 2 February of the same year.

Fjellström now works as a football expert for the Swedish subsidiary of Canal . In the 2006 World Cup he also worked for TV4.
