Jeremy Richardson

Jeremy Terrell Richardson ( born March 1, 1984 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player.

Playing career

In the NBA Development League Draft 2006 Jeremy Richardson was selected by the Fort Worth Flyers. For this team, he played until he was given a ten-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks on January 27, 2007. After the second ten-day contract expired, Richardson was released by the Hawks. In March 2007 he was given a ten-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers. As well as the expired, he returned to the NBA D- League.

In the NBA Preseason 2007/ 08 he played for the Miami Heat, but was fired shortly before the start of the regular season. Then he went to the D -League to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, who selected him in the NBA D -League Expansion Draft. On December 3, he was elected to the NBA D -League Performer of the Week after he was able to achieve 35 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in two games for the Mad Ants.

On 20 December 2007 he signed a contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, but the 7 January 2008 threw out him again. Three days later, on 10 January 2008 Jeremy Richardson received the first of two ten-day contracts with the San Antonio Spurs. After, the second ten-day contract expired and to make room in the squad for Damon Stoudamire, Richardson was released by the Spurs. He then went on 2 February in the D -League to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He took on 16 February at the D -League All-Star Game as part of the NBA All-Star Weekend in part, scored 22 points, led his team to 117:99 victory and was voted MVP of the game. Two days later he received a ten-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks. After a second ten-day contract on March 10, Richardson was equipped with a permanent position with the Hawks until the end of the season.

On 25 September 2008 Richardson got as a free agent a contract with the Orlando Magic. After he was released on December 6 of the Magic, Richardson had six days later a contract with the team from Orlando.
