Jessica Capshaw

Jessica Brooke Capshaw ( born August 9, 1976 in Columbia, Missouri) is an American film actress.

Life

Jessica Capshaw is the only child from the marriage of actress Kate Capshaw with the trade representative Robert Capshaw. Her parents divorced in 1979 when Jessica was three years old, custody was awarded to her mother. On October 12, 1991 her mother married the director Steven Spielberg.

At the age of 17 years Capshaw acted in 1993 as a production intern at Schindler's list. This represents up to now its only working behind the camera dar. 1998 she finished her studies at Brown University, one of the eight Ivy League universities, with a degree in English. She then graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Jessica Capshaw is since 1997 in front of the camera. Among her best-known films include Cry if you can from the 2001 and Minority Report (2002) under the direction of her stepfather. Jessica also plays in the series Bones - The Knochenjägerin ex-girlfriend of Agent Seely Booth, with whom she has a son.

Between 2002 and 2004 she was a member of the regular cast of the television series Practice - Lawyers. Since the fifth season of the television series Grey's Anatomy, it occurs as a pediatric surgeon Arizona Robbins. At the beginning of the fourth season of The L Word - When women love women Capshaw was seen as Nadia Karella.

Jessica Capshaw has a son and two daughters with husband Christopher Gavigan.
