Jessica Mezey
Jessica Mezey (* in New York City ) is an American prima ballerina and advertising model.
Life
She graduated at the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg. She was in her young career already in lead roles, see, among others, at the Philadelphia Ballet Theatre and the Slovak National Theatre, and dominates the entire classic repertoire as well as modern dance, the neoclassical style, as well as many other styles.
She gave further performances as a prima ballerina in the national theaters of Bosnia - Herzegovina, Azerbaijan and Mongolia and was on several tours in the U.S., Europe - especially Russia - and Asia.
In 2001, she was a dancer in the two-part ballet BACH A ballet evening as part of the 76th Bach Festival of the New Bach Society in Eisenach. She has performed nationwide and on various stages - eg in Rostock. At the People's Theatre in Rostock she danced in the season 2005/2006, among others, the lead role in the ballet Cinderella by Sergei Prokofiev. In the season 2006/2007 she was there also engaged as solo dancer. In the season 2009/2009 she took over the lead role of Undine in the new production of the ballet Undine by Hans Werner Henze.
In the season 2006/2007 she had an engagement as a guest soloist at the Slovak National Theatre; she danced the lead role of Medora in the ballet Le Corsaire by Adolphe Adam.
