JetConnect

JetConnect is a New Zealand subsidiary of Australian airline Qantas Airways, based in Auckland. It serves international links between Australia and New Zealand. JetConnect flies under the brand Qantas and is a member of the Oneworld Alliance. JetConnect was founded in July 2002 and began operations in October 2002.

Until June 9, 2009 JetConnect also operated domestic routes Qantas in New Zealand, which are now being operated by Jetstar Airways, also a Qantas subsidiary. Objectives were to Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua, Christchurch and Queenstown.

The fleet consists of eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which are flown by personnel from New Zealand.
